When fit is important -- and it's no more important anywhere than in inexpensive gaskets that protect extremely expensive parts such as engine internals, I like to provide pictures that show the fit of the installed parts. Sorry, but I get so involved sometimes and forget. I did remember to snap a photo of the gasket set as I received it. It was not too comforting to see te large gasket all folded up in a plastic bag, but I guess it's a sign of the times. I remember when gaskets were packaged in cardboard boxes large enough to hold them in their natural shapes. But, then, modern-day material magic being what it is, all I had to do to relax it was to remove it from the bag and lay it out for awhile. The material quality is good enough to allow it to nearly regain the intended shape by merely laying it out on a bench top. Transferring it from there and fitting it to the engine was then a snap. As gasket installations go, this is pretty easy. After tightening everything up, I found no leaks, so it's functioning as a gasket should. My wife's car is happy, making my wife happy, and given that and the ease of installation, I'm happy.
