Installed this transmission oil pan kit on my wife’s Durango without any issues. Everything fit as expected—the gasket, drain plug, and bolts all lined up perfectly. Solid quality for the price and made the fluid change much easier. So far, no leaks and seems very reliable.
Imagine the shock of laying under your vehicle the first time and noticing you have a plastic oil pan, or in this case a plastic transmission pan. This is sort-of what the world is coming to. I have the ZF 8-speed in both my Chrysler 300, and my Ram 4x4 - both have the plastic pan. In the truck I imagined being on the trail, flicking up a large stone, and - well, you can guess the disaster that happens next. In my 300 however, it's a pavement pounder in a large city with fairly decent roads. In that regard, I understand the concept. It's getting a little longer in the tooth and after replacing the pan on my truck with a larger sump aluminum job, I went ahead and grabbed this for the Chrysler. I'm happy to say the kit is complete - like, really complete. My fancy expensive aluminum pan with serviceable and replaceable filter was several times more than this kit and didn't even come with new bolts. This kit came with everything, pan, gasket already clipped into place, and a spare METAL drain plug, as well as new hardware (bolts) to ensure everything is new. Be aware, the plastic pan has an integrated filter - there's really no avoiding this - it's how they're designed. This is how the OEM pan is as well. If you want a swappable filter only, you have to pay the hefty pricetag for the metal pan like I did for my truck, but for an OE-style replacement just for basic maintenance on your car, or maybe even your truck that's a 2WD pavement pounder - this kit is 100% comprehensive and perfect for the job.
Received plastic transmission filter pan on time. Appears to be in good condition, with rubber gasket and new bolts. Filter is not removable, so that you can simply replace that, as with some transmission pans.
